Therapeutic Support
Let’s begin your wellness journey…
I believe healing begins with understanding your unique story. In individual therapy, I tailor each session to your specific needs; integrating mind, body, and nervous system approaches that support lasting change.
Whether you’re managing anxiety, panic, chronic stress, or the effects of past trauma, our work together helps uncover root patterns, strengthen self-awareness, and restore regulation and balance from within.
I work with adults and teens, offering a holistic and trauma-responsive space to explore, heal, and grow at your own pace.
I specialize in working with:

Therapy focuses on understanding how these patterns show up in your body and nervous system while building practical ways to create steadiness reduced reactivity and regain a sense of control.
Therapeutic work may include somatic approaches, emotional embodiment, breathwork, and talk therapy to support both immediate relief and longer-term regulation. -
Trauma and past experiences can continue to affect how you feel, respond, and move through daily life long after the moment has passed. You might notice tightened anxiety, shutdown, difficulty trusting, or patterns that feel hard to change.
Therapy focuses on creating a steady, supportive space to process what you've been through while supporting nervous system regulation and reconnecting with yourself at a pace that feels manageable. -
Nervous system dysregulation can show up as feeling constantly on edge, shut down, overwhelmed, or exhausted even when nothing obvious is wrong. You might notice anxiety, difficulty sleeping, irritability, trouble focusing, or a sense that your body never fully settles.
Therapy focuses on helping your system find steadiness again through somatic and nervous system informed care that supports regulation safety and capacity.

Licensed Professional Counselor in Boise, Idaho
I’m Ashley Betz, a licensed counselor and the founder of Mind Space Mental Wellness—a private-pay counseling practice in Boise, Idaho, dedicated to helping anxious, overwhelmed individuals find clarity, balance, and meaningful change.
I support individuals experiencing burnout, chronic anxiety, panic attacks, and the lingering effects of trauma. My approach integrates evidence-based and body-centered therapies, including Brainspotting, somatic breathwork, Polyvagal Theory, and traditional talk therapy, to help you reconnect with your natural capacity for regulation and resilience.
Through this work, you’ll learn to calm your nervous system, release stored tension, and rebuild a sense of safety and connection within yourself. Healing becomes less about managing symptoms and more about rediscovering balance, stability, and self-trust.
