Brainspotting
Supports deeper processing of trauma, anxiety, and emotional activation through the brain–body connection.
-
Brainspotting is often chosen when something feels “stuck” even after insight or traditional talk therapy. It can help access and process experiences held beneath conscious awareness, especially when activation lives in the body more than in words. People often seek this work for trauma, anxiety, performance blocks, persistent emotional patterns, or responses that feel disproportionate to the present moment.
-
Brainspotting is for adults navigating trauma, anxiety, overwhelm, or deeply rooted patterns that haven’t shifted through cognitive approaches alone. It may be supportive for those who feel activated without knowing why, carry strong body responses, or want a focused, brain–body method of processing. Sessions are collaborative and paced with attention to safety and regulation.
-
Brainspotting uses eye position, focused attention, and attuned presence to access and process material stored in the nervous system. Sessions may include periods of quiet noticing, body awareness, and guided support while your system processes at its own pace. You remain in control of depth and timing. The goal is not catharsis, but integration and reduced reactivity over time.
-
Offered within therapy sessions in standard or extended formats. Brainspotting may be integrated with talk therapy, somatic awareness, and regulation practices depending on your needs and readiness. In-person and virtual availability depends on appropriateness and clinical judgment.
Extended sessions available. More Information Here.
What Brainspotting Is
Brainspotting is a focused, brain–body therapy that helps access and process experiences stored beneath conscious awareness. By working with eye position and the nervous system, the approach supports integration where words alone may not reach. It is grounded in attunement, pacing, and nervous system safety.
How Brainspotting Helps
Over time, Brainspotting can reduce reactivity, soften trauma responses, and increase capacity to stay present with emotion and sensation. Many people notice less activation, more clarity, and a greater sense of internal steadiness in everyday life. The work builds gradually and follows your system’s readiness.
