Announcement: Women’s Support Group in Boise, Idaho
Women thrive when they have supportive spaces to share, connect, and be supported. A women’s support group offers more than conversation—it’s a circle of care where your experiences are honored, your nervous system is supported, and your sense of belonging is strengthened.
Radical Regulation is co-founded by Ashley Betz of Mind Space and Jenn Crawford of Zen Riot. This women’s support group will meet in the Zen Den at Zen Riot in Boise, creating a grounding and welcoming environment for connection and healing.
Why We Created This Group
We didn’t set out to create another class or therapy session. Instead, our vision was to hold a supportive container where women could come exactly as they are. Life has seasons where what we need most is to be heard, seen, and held—and this group was born from that recognition.
In this group we focus less on “doing” and more on simply being. Each woman chooses the type of support she needs in the moment—whether that’s speaking her truth, receiving reflection, or sitting quietly in stillness.
Our role as facilitators is simply to guide and protect the space, making sure it remains grounded in compassion, non-judgment, and belonging. However you arrive—messy, quiet, strong, or tender—you are welcome here.
Why Women’s Support Groups Matter
Support groups provide a unique kind of healing. They remind us that we’re not alone in our struggles and that sharing our stories can be a powerful act of connection. Within a group, women can:
Release isolation by being with others who “get it.”
Learn new tools for managing stress, anxiety, and overwhelm.
Witness resilience in each other’s stories, which inspires hope and courage.
Build accountability through community encouragement and support.
What to Expect
Each gathering offers the freedom to choose how you want to participate. Maybe you’ll want to speak and be witnessed. Maybe you’ll want reflection and feedback. Or maybe you’ll want to sit in stillness and simply know you’re not alone.
This group is about:
Being witnessed without needing to fix or be fixed. Choosing the kind of support you need each time you arrive. Resting in a space of compassion and non-judgment. Speaking your truth, or sitting in silence and knowing it’s enough. Remembering you don’t have to hold everything alone.
How Support Groups Are Different
This support group is different from other spaces you might be familiar with. While group therapy often focuses on clinical goals and somatic yoga therapy centers around structured movement and skill-building, our group is rooted in something simpler: holding space. Here, women gather in community and choose the kind of support they need each time; whether that’s speaking their truth, receiving reflection, or resting quietly in stillness. There’s no pressure to perform, fix, or solve. Instead, the emphasis is on connection, compassion, and the quiet power of shared humanity.
Our Gathering Space
We’re honored to hold these sessions in the Zen Den at Zen Riot Yoga Studio in Boise, Idaho. The studio is known for its grounding, inclusive atmosphere. The environment itself supports our group’s intention: to offer women a supportive, welcoming space to connect and grow.
